Plenary Meeting in Stockholm (Sweden)

On 3–4 March 2026, Aurora partners met in Stockholm to review project progress and plan the next phases of the initiative.

Project consortium met at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm to discuss the progress achieved so far and the next steps of the project.

The meeting brought partners together to review the M18 results, reflect on reviewers’ recommendations, and discuss work package progress, current challenges, and plans to further strengthen engagement with local stakeholders, with a strong focus on planning the upcoming demonstration events. Partners also showcased technical progress by presenting the latest versions of the Aurora platform.

The meeting was hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology, founded in 1827 and widely recognised as one of the world’s leading technical universities. As Sweden’s largest institution for technical education and research, KTH brings together a global community of students, researchers, and educators working to advance science, innovation, and sustainable societal development. The Aurora consortium sincerely thanks KTH for hosting the meeting and for their warm welcome in Stockholm.

Aurora is an innovative research initiative focused on forecasting and preventing the impacts of climate change within the One Health framework, with a particular focus on the EU Boreal region. The project is part of the Mission Implementation Platform for Adaptation to Climate Change (MIP4Adapt) community and is funded by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA).
